As I see it….5-23-07 Well here we go again. I sat in staff meeting on Tuesday and I listened to Pastor Michael beaming with pride as he talked about his children. This time he talked about Ben. Ben is awesome, he makes me laugh. I keep hearing the words, “you want some?’ From a little guy to say that around people much bigger than him is awful brave or awful foolish. As I see it we all need to be a lot like Ben. We need to stand our ground and realize that fear is not an option. The bible says in Mat. 11:12: 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. What do you think he meant? I offer to you this as I see it. Jesus was referring to the amount of spiritual warfare that was going on around Him and His messenger John the Baptist. The warfare was intense so intense that it cost John his life. He stood his ground as death was eminent and well you know he lost his head. Ben is a child and Jesus said to “suffer the little children to come to Him”. Have we become too grown up? Do we think that we can stand up to the enemy without our Captain Jesus with us? Ben can say “you want some?’ because he knows that his father won’t let anything bad happen to him. Do you see it? These days are tough and we need to get violent if we want to see the kingdom of God advance in our midst. Do you have a physical problem, a financial problem, an emotional problem or a relationship problem to name a few? When can we with open vision see that our heavenly Father is there also to not let anything bad happen to us too? Many of you are going through it right now but as I see it ya gotta let go and let God! He is more than able. Hey, you want some? PJ
