Vision
Last night I had the opportunity to facilitate our Men’s Source group. I felt impressed to speak on vision. As the conversation developed it became apparent that our men each have a unique vision for themselves. I urged everyone to speak their vision and allow the group to absorb the visions. I was impressed on how many men wanted to experience more of the Lord in their lives. Most wanted a greater understanding of the Word and to be of service. Almost everyone wanted to use their passions in the local church setting. We at CFAN are strong proponents of the local church. We believe all ministry should emanate from the local house as that is the pattern set forth in the book of Acts. Let me emphasize some points that were discussed.
· Vision is a discovery of God’s plan as it relates to your life.
· Vision is also foresight with insight based on hindsight.
· Vision also means beginning a thing with the end in mind.
Vision- arises from our purpose, focuses our power, and enables us to see our potential.
What is your vision? What is your purpose? How are YOU going to fulfill your own vision?
Here is a quote from John Maxwell that will drive it home.
“Vision is…the ability to see…the faith to believe… [and] the courage to do.”
If you believe God for something that be like the Nike slogan “Just do it!”
