I thought it would be cool to document some observations from Halloween. I titled this message Greetings from the Great Pumpkin because I always remember the “Peanut” comic strip where they are waiting for the great pumpkin. Well he doesn’t come because he doesn’t exist! Now that is a great revelation huh? As we as a church went out and walked the neighborhood we didn’t look for the great pumpkin or any other imaginary entity. We went out as a group to be with each other and collect can goods for people less fortunate than us. We enjoy each other’s company. Yes we really do! I enjoy being with all of you to the extent that I will drop what I am doing to do just that. Halloween is just another day. I said it yes Halloween is just another day. Each day is given to us by God to worship and glorify Him. People make each day what they want it to be. I CHOOSE to worship and glorify God. We as a church do not condone what others make of Halloween, we are lovers of God not the things that man makes it. That’s as I see it…… Oh by the way pass the candy!!
