What a week! We had the Men’s Boot Camp on Saturday and we had a great time. The feedback has been incredible. Kudos to all who helped make it work. I preached both services on Sunday and I have to admit it was tough. Pastor Michael will be back next week after taking a much needed break. Even having been a lead pastor two services in a row was a killer. These guys like Mark Driscoll, my hat is tipped to you. You have been elevated quite a few notches in my book. It’s almost like the birthing experience. You are so excited about the baby to come. I mean, you have been so excited waiting for it. Then it’s time. There’s the tension that builds during the birthing, and next thing you know, your wife has had the baby . Everything you have been waiting for is done (not really), at least this part. It can be very anti-dramatic and depressing. It’s important to have that relationship with God so He can fill you and renew your strength.
