It’s the little things that count

The last couple of weeks have been hectic to say the least but in it all I find it refreshing to see wonderful things come out of it.
Services have been great, lives touched and changed, people developing passion.
We have seen God move and we now have approval for our Pre-School (It is not a daycare by the way). Sometimes we wonder why He didn’t move last year but we also know He is still in control!

What a great time to be in smack dab in the middle of Him!

A great deal is in store for us as we learn to rely on Him more and more.
We are stirred by His Word more now than ever. We are seeing fruit rise up in places that could only be dreamed about.

Yet how real is the Lord to you?

What has He done for you personally?

Did He provide much needed insulation from these cold Florida mornings?
Did He provide food on your table?
Did He allow you the means to provide for yourself and your loved ones?

He is so much bigger than even those things.

I want to let everyone in on a little secret.

Ready?

I have been alarmed that a place had developed that might be a form of skin cancer. The last 2 months have stretched me to the point to where I have asked, why me?

Somehow my faith had risen to the point where I expected God to intervene. I know He has a plan for me and He is not done with me yet. A little thing could have caused a great big problem.

Well the end of the story is this. I went to the doctor and he said it was gone. Okay a natural reaction huh? After all you did go to a doctor!

No. After the initial biopsy he said that it was rare that someone would come in and it be all gone. I mean maybe twice a year he said this happens.

Yet it was.

A little thing?

Sure but this little thing showed me once again that I serve a GREAT BIG GOD!

What little thing has He done for you?

Nothing is insignificant when we have an active awareness of His presence.

Another day?

Yes thank you Lord!

  • That is AWESOME, PJ! I am so in awe of the faithful God we serve who makes those little (and big) things happen in our lives everyday! You summed it up perfectly when you said “Nothing is insignificant when we have an active awareness of His presence.”

    He is so good!
